RuneScape - History of the First Two Decades appears in a book
The story of OSRS Gold, and how it became one of the longest-running games in the world since its inception in 2001, will be fully revealed tomorrow, November 11th, when Dark Horse Books and Jagex release the book “RuneScape: The First 20 Years - An illustrated story ”as a lavishly illustrated, color hardcover book.
RuneScape: The First 20 Years - An Illustrated History ”offers an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the iconic online fantasy RPG, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, and tells the story of RuneScape: The First 20 Years” one exclusive look behind the scenes of the Gielinor game world.
On 224 pages, the detailed history of RuneScape and its sister title Old School RuneScape is highlighted by means of exclusive interviews with the designers and developers as well as hundreds of color illustrations from the last two decades of the game's history.
The book was written by journalist Alex Calvin and contains key stories about the origins of RuneScape, the people behind it, the history of its development and the future of the game. Chapters include: The Birth of RuneScape, The Age of Discovery, RuneScape IRL, Evolve or Go Home, Old School Cool, The Sixth Age of RuneScape, and The Next 20 Years.
