The Truth About Sniper Filters in NBA MyTeam

There is only one sniper filter that works in MyTeam - a filter you make yourself. How do you do it? First, you have to be familiar with the market, be decisive about the players you want to target, figure out how to use filters to group those players in as many ways as possible and be patient.

Getting familiar with the market means knowing what players are targeting in the auction house and knowing which players would be considered "good". Here's a simple example - when the Allstar series came out, we got Darius Garland and Jarrett Allen. Assuming everyone thinks these two cards are great, you like what you see on the nba2k DB when you compare those cards to other players' positions, and the day before these packs expire, these Two cards sell for around 25K (I believe they are). Reasonable screening criteria for the last day are Galaxy Opal, Cavs, up to 20K buyout. If one of the cards costs less than this, you can put them away, and if you're really lucky, Evan Mobley will fall into the filter (he's also released in the set but at 100K times).

There is no magic formula that some people would have you believe. Some of them belong to HGTV - they show you what they're doing, they cut their hours, and when they finally get something, they show you like there's some winning formula you can learn by subscribing to their channel. I just thought and laughed.

I can't stress this enough - find your own filters and stop relying on other people's filters. Their sniper filters are made the same way. Also, the more people use a set of filters, the less effective it is, and anyone willing to share their sniper filters with you either didn't use them or got them from someone else.
